Out and about

Yesterday I stopped in at Golden Braid Books.  I love to have lunch at the Oasis Cafe.  Golden Braid has recently reconfigured their stock.  At present they have a very delightful selection of inexpensive amethyst points and rock crystal quartz points on hand.  The pieces would make an excellent choice for a crystal grid around the base of your bed.  Purchase four amethyst points and four  rock crystal points and arrange them just under the edges and corners of your bed.  The make a splendid dream grid.  After a yummy lunch of tofu curry wrap and a creme brule desert I proceeded to Cosmic Spiral at 9th &9th.  They had some praisolite quartz which I bought.  They only had two on  hand and I bought both.  Cosmic Spiral has a nice selection of crystals and minerals for sale.  I dearly love Kitty and Curtis.  I had my quartz crystal collection with me and wound up bringing them in to  let Gregg Hall one of Cosmic Spiral's healing practitioners have an overview of what I do. Greg is a LMT and will be working at Cosmic Spiral during the week one or two days and on Saturday.   From Cosmic Spiral I went to Kindred Paths located on Highland Rd. just before 39th South.  Steve has a few faceted sapphires on hand which someone placed with him on consignment.  I bought a 3 caret blue stone.  He still has a 4 or so pieces left.  The store does have a few types of tumble polished stones  in stock but the focus of the store is dedicated to the earth religion traditions and only stocks crystals from time to time.  My most recent book purchase from Kindred Paths was Chosen by the Spirits by Sarangerel.  The subject is Mongolian Tengerism.  Having looked over other material on Shamanism I believe that this book needs to be recognized as being of the highest caliber.
